We all love high heels – few things feel more empowering, sexy, dramatic, and expressive than slipping on a pair of high heels for an event, dinner, or whatever. So it may come as a shock to you to hear that more and more women are discovering, and rediscovering womens flat shoes as an option for daily wear. Designers have started stepping up to the plate when it comes to style and comfort, and we’re starting to notice as we peruse the fashion magazines to the gossip rags, and especially while shopping.

What has really pushed flat shoes back to the forefront? There was a time when it meant that we were starting to tire from, or –gasp – becoming too old to have heels on all the time. And perhaps some of us still feel that way. But look at what designers from Tory Burch to Marc Jacobs are coming up with, and it’ll be harder to deny that flat shoes are entering a renaissance. I have an interview tomorrow, shall i wear high heels or it will look like i didn’t come for a job?

I would like advice especially from people who wore heels long term. I would like to have a balance between wearing flat shoes and 3 inch heels or so (looove them, cannot give them up) to avoid the full blown damage in the long run.

High heels are very painful that causes feet is hurt and makes that’s not good for your feet is very hurt that sometimes causes a little broke. Why so many models wear high heels to walk that hurt for their feet and why don’t they wear flat shoes fine shoes that be comfortable to walk without hurt.

I am 5’2″ – My boyfriend is four foot something. We have dealt with the height issue (I think) and yeah we do get some funny looks but whatever. I always wear flat shoes when I am with him. I sometimes want to wear heels but it would make the height difference even bigger! I suggested that he wear lifts in his shoes or get elevator shoes ONLY FOR WHEN I AM WEARING HIGH HEELS.
What do you think of that? Is it mean? How would you feel?

I am really curious if high heels are harder to keep on your feet or low heels. When going up or down stairs or walking fast, do you find you are more prone to losing your shoes when you wear heels, or flats?
This is not a comfort question. I just want to know how easy it is for your shoes to slip off while walking. (Does your foot slide forward in your heels causing them to slip off, or be more secure? Or does your heel pull out of your flat shoes causing them to slip right off?)

They claim i will hurt my self if i try walking in flat shoes for a day after wearing high heels all the time, is this true?
