How Do You Keep From Getting Blisters On The Back Of Your Heel When You Wear High Heels?
Sunday, October 11th, 2009I have tried band aids, but they shred or bunch up. There has GOT to be some solution or no one would ever wear heels. Ideas?

I have a pair of heels with a strap across the back of my foot above the heel. No matter how often I wear them or if I put them up for a while, the next time I wear them, I bleed where the straps rub my skin. I’ve tried placing a band-aid between my skin and the strap, and loosening and tightening the straps, but this doesn’t work. Does everybody have this problem?
The question says it all. Do you recommend certain brands/sizes/shanks?? Are there specific ways to know if you have the perfect fit. I have an 8.5 slender foot. Do you have my kind of foot and prefer a certain Point Shoe brand??? Oh, and I already oreder toe pads: Pillows for Pointe- Gellows!! Reccomondation from an older dancer. Thanx all u ballerinas!!

I don’t have health insurance, and can’t afford a doctor. I’m 99% positive I’ve developed this. (It sounds crazy, but I think I’ve developed it from driving a lot. My clutch is far from the floor.)
I’ve been going to the gym 4-5 times a week, have lost weight and want to continue, but fear not being able to go anymore until the pain goes away. I just want to walk again without pain!
