I’m clueless when it comes to fashion & struggling to find shoes for 2 outfits. One is a periwinkle blue dress. The other is a suit with an ice blue jacket and a plaid-ish skirt that has ice blue, pistachio green, silver and white in it. I’m hoping I might find one pair of shoes that will work for both…usually wear black pumps or sandals but they don’t quite work with these colors. I have 2 questions:
What do you think would be the best color(s) of shoe?
Do you think strappy sandals are too casual to go with a suit? The suit jacket is short sleeved and skirt is above the knee, if that matters.

Formal Wear: I dont have any good ones right now. I have a pair of black ones, but they suck. First of all, i dont have much money so i need something now. If I were to have one pair of shoes to go with a black suit that can be worn dressy, what would your recommend? I was thinking black leather lace up? How about brown shoes? But I only have a black suit…
Casual Wear: I want to get a white/green pair of Lacoste Carnabys. And as for another pair, should I look into the john varvatos converse slipons? Or something else? Should I just stay away from sneakers, casually??? How about a pair of brown or black loafers? Moccasins? Something(s) that can go with jeans, and/or khakis?

Let’s face it. Shoes are a necessity in the United States. Can you imagine walking around at a store or other public place and people are all barefoot? You won’t see this too often in this country. Despite this fact, there are many people that advocate barefoot living, claiming that it’s healthier than covering the feet, even when walking out on the streets. They also claim that sharp objects such as broken glass would not penetrate the feet, even if stepped directly on, because the feet toughen up after walking barefoot for a while, providing a natural, protective barrier.
